The Lab VU 4000 Series
laboratory microscopes embody highly advanced optical and mechanical design for top
performance from routine laboratory work to educational and research studies. The Lab VU 4000 Series utilizes Seidentopf binocular and trinocular
360 degree rotatable bodies inclined at 30 degrees. High performance and resolution
is achieved through multi layer anti-reflection coating on prisms. Interpupillary
distance adjustment can be made from 54mm to 75mm and diopter adjustment ring on the
ocular tube provides correction for eye acuity. Dual viewing attachment includes
illuminated green and red pointer, which is movable by joystick control.

plan achromatic 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X oil immersion objectives on a precision ball bearing
quintuple nosepiece ensuring accuracy and optical alignment. |
Mechanical |
Coaxial coarse
and fine focusing adjustments. The fine focusing movement is 0.2mm
per rotation which may be operated over the full 26.5mm range of coarse travel.
Tension control allows observer to set focusing for desired comfort. |
Stage |
Smooth operating
ball bearing mechanical stage with low position coaxial controls designed with a 0.1mm
vernier which provides accurate location of specimen and X-Y travel is 50mm x 76mm on a
120mm x 128mm stage. |
Illumination |
High power 6 volt
20 watt halogen illumination with an average life of 2000 hours, powered through Switch
Mode Power Supply (SMPS). Ensures constant light at fluctuating operating voltages. |

The US601 Series
consists of four basic models, the Binocular Model and Binocular Model with a coaxial
reflected-light illuminator built into the optical body, and the Trinocular Model and
Trinocular Model with a coaxial reflected-light illuminator. Accessories can be
selected to upgrade each model depending on its type of usage.
The Trinocular model with coaxial reflected-light
illuminator makes it possible to instantly switch the image for observation over to the
monitor screen by simply selecting the optical path. This model has been introducted
as the first low-priced model in its class.
The high-performance optical system allows the user
to observe a specimen uniformly and clearly, assuring the highest resolution, color,
contrast, and depth. The zoom lens with a wide zoom ratio of 6.3 enables a wide
range of observation at low to high magnifications. The 95mm long working distance
lens covers a variety of specimens. This series is most suitable for inspection
requiring high magnification as well as for mounting on various equipment in industries. |

The WESCO
Motic M Series of advanced stereo microscopes for those who insist on the best value with
no compromise in demand for excellence. The Motic M Series of stereo microscope is a
top class product of modern microscope technology. It comes in four models of
different price levels so that the prospective purchaser can strike a balance between the
level of convenience required and the funds available. Available accessories include
a dual discussion head for training, camera and video adaptors, drawing attachment, and
gliding stage.
The optical system, which consists of multi-coated
components and with the latest up-to-date optical path design, is computed for relaxed,
fatigue-free long hour viewing. The system is parfocal and so are all the
accessories which are computed for ensuring the image is simultaneously sharp in the
binocular, in the second observer tube and in the film plane.
