bullet Meiji TM200 Series Microscopes

The Meiji TM200 Series includes a practical range of academic microscopes that can stand up to heavy classroom punishment.  They are an affordable "student proof" microscope designed to meet or exceed laboratory requirements for science teaching programs. The Meiji TM200 microscope is available in a variety of junior high school, high school and college models.  Each is priced to fit your budget without sacrificing the important features you really need.

General Features:

  • Vertical and Inclined models.  Inclined models offer an eyepiece inclined 45°.  Vertical models feature an inclination joint in the base.
  • Safety-set eyepiece, illuminator and mirror.  Optical and mechanical components are locked-in to prevent students from removing them.
  • Spring-loaded 40X and 100X (oil) objectives retract into their barrel mounts upon contact to protect slides and objectives from damage.
  • Rack & pinion focusing to prevent gear damage and to help students produce sharp, crisp images faster and easier.  Also, a lever-type fine adjustment provides worm gear control for smooth fine focusing.
  • Choice of either a mirror or a 20 watt illuminator with alloy cast housing finished in chemically resistant paint.
  • All TM200 microscopes are pre-drilled and tapped to easily accept attachable mechanical stages.
  • Heavy guage all-metal stand eliminates vibrations.   Rubber foot protects desks from scratching damage.
